Retractable Screens Limited Lifetime Warranty

Wizard Screen Solutions warrants to the original purchaser of Wizard Retractable Screen Systems that the screen components supplied shall be free from defect in materials and workmanship under normal use for lifetime as long as the screen remains in its original installed location. This warranty is not transferable and applies solely to the original purchaser.

The term “Defect” is defined in this warranty as imperfections that impair the utility of the retractable screen. Wrinkles in the mesh or puckering along its edges does not constitute a defect.

The limited warranty does not apply to the following:

• Mesh, mesh components, fabric, vinyl or any of its adjoining components.

• Defect caused by incorrect installation, misuse, modifications, abuse, normal weathering, improper maintenance or other causes beyond the control of Wizard Screens.

• Defect caused by high winds and other natural causes. Screens must be in the retracted position during heavy winds and other acts of mother nature that may causes damage. Do not operate screens during high winds.

• Defects that are subjective personal judgments on appearance and operation.

• Fading and chalking of painted surfaces after 10 years.
• Warranty claims by owners that did not purchase the screen from an authorized Wizard Dealer in the United States, Canada or Mexico.

Warranty Claim Procedure

• Purchaser should contact their Wizard dealer or installer for service.

• Proof of purchase is required for warranty claims.

• The original Wizard dealer will record and evaluate the claim and will supply replacement components if covered by this warranty.

• Shipping costs and service labor are not covered by this warranty.

The obligations of Wizard Screens are limited to repair or replacement (at Wizards sole discretion) of any parts of the screen determined to be defective under this limited warranty. In no event shall Wizard Screens be liable for damages of any kind, including but not limited to, economic loss, punitive damages, incidental or consequential, property damage, time loss, wages, or lost profits.

Any implied warranty included but not limited to the implied warranty of merchantability or of fitness of a particular purpose is hereby limited to the terms of this limited warranty. We make no other representation or warranty, either express or implied. This warranty is not a promise of future performance, but strictly a limited warranty to repair, replace or refund. No other representation or warranty made by a Wizard Screens dealer, agent or employee shall be binding to you or Wizard Screens other than what is stated in this document.

Not all state and provincial laws allow limitations or exclusions of implied warranties, the duration of any such warranty shall be subject to the same time limit and conditions as provided in the express warranty herein.
